Shower Valves
Overview

About this service

Shower valves fail in three flavors: it won't turn off, the temperature swings when someone flushes, or hot and cold have swapped over the years. Most of the time a cartridge replacement fixes it in an hour. Sometimes the valve body itself is corroded and has to come out.

We service all the major cartridge brands — Moen, Delta, Kohler, Grohe, Pfister — and can convert an old two- or three-handle setup to a modern pressure-balance or thermostatic mixing valve.

When we have to open the tile, we cut a clean access panel and give you options: patch-in tile, hinged access door, or a full re-tile scope you can hand to a tile contractor.

FAQ

Questions about shower valves.

For a cartridge swap, no — everything comes out through the front. For a full valve body replacement, we usually need rear or side access. We'll show you the options before we cut anything.

Old non-balancing valves don't compensate when water pressure changes. A pressure-balance cartridge or valve upgrade fixes it.

Usually yes — cartridges are trim-agnostic, so you keep your handles and escutcheon.
